Drug dealing gang arrested in Algiers

A 17-member drug dealing gang was arrested in Algiers in a raid on Monday, security sources said to Arabstoday. The gang members were arrested in the Baraki district of Algiers. They were obtaining knives, swords, trifles, Molotov cocktails, teargas grenades in addition to 600gm of cannabis and 80 drug tablets, the sources added. The sources said that this raid was part of a broad campaign aimed at preventing the spread of criminal gangs throughout the over populated districts and neighbourhoods of Algiers.
