Egypt denies firing Eilat rockets

Egypt’s military institution stressed that Egyptian territories would not be a threat to neighboring states. Spokesperson of Egypt’s Armed Forces, Ahmed Mohamed Ali, said in a press statement that technical committees had been formed, to combat rumours circulated about the launch of missiles from Egypt targeting the Israeli city of Eilat. An Egyptian military official said that the Armed Forces stressed that Egyptian territories would not be a source of threat against its neighbors. The Israeli city of Eilat was hit by three missiles early on Wednesday.
