
Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry held on Tuesday lengthy talks with Libyan Foreign Minister Mohamed el Dairi in Ethiopia.
The meeting was held on the fringe of the African Union (AU) Foreign Ministers Executive Council meetings, currently in session here.
During the gathering, the two Arab top diplomats discussed the recent developments in Libya.
Shoukry asserted that Libya is Egypt's neighbor so it is important to discuss its crisis at the AU summit, adding that Egypt is coordinating with the UN envoy to Libya to achieve success in putting end to violence and terrorism and reaching a solution to the current political crisis there.
Also, Egypt plays a role in the international efforts to combat the penetrating terrorist groups in Libya through working on building the legitimate institutions of the Libyan government, |Shoukry underlined.
