Egypt’s court open case against Brotherhood guide

Egyptian courts are to hear cases against former officials, from both sides of the country’s revolution. Cairo Criminal Court will resume the prosecution of Egypt’s former President Hosni Mubarak and his sons, along with his Interior Minister at the time – Habib al-Adly, over accusations of corruption charges whilst they were in office. Giza’s Criminal Court will start considering a case against the Supreme Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood – Mohammed Badie, and his deputy Khairat al-Shater, for inciting demonstrators against the country’s interim government, to violence. The prosecution against Adly has been postponed to August 25.
