Egypt's former defense minister and presidential hopeful Abdul-Fattah Al-Sisi has won a landslide victory in the presidential elections held for Egyptian expatriates, the election watchdog said. Al-Sisi has garnered 296,628 (94.5 percent) out of a total of 313,835 votes cast by Egyptians abroad, while his rival Hamdeen Sabahi got only 17,207 votes (5.48 percent), the Presidential Elections Committee told a news conference here on Wednesday. Turnout hit 318,825 votes involving 4,990 void votes, it added, urging Egyptians at home to flow to polling stations to cast their ballots in the presidential race due on Monday and Tuesday.
