Egyptian authorities open Rafah crossing

Egyptian authorities today opened the Rafah border crossing on the southern Gaza Strip in both directions after being closed for about two weeks. Palestinian Ambassador in Cairo Barakat Al-Farra has announced the Egyptian decision to open the Rafah crossing for three days. About 5000 citizens have registered at the Interior Ministry of the dismissed Palestinian government to travel through the Rafah border crossing. Source: QNA
