Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi looks set to confirm a mini cabinet reshuffle on Sunday morning. The move comes as uncertainty continues to grow over the future of Prime Minister Hisham Kandil. Both PM Kandil and President Morsi will holds separate meetings with the six new government ministers in Cairo on Sunday evening. The reshuffle will be finalised before Monday's Coptic Easter national holiday, and President Morsi's scheduled trip to Brazil on Tuesday. A governmental source confirmed that Prime Minister Kandil offered cabinet positions to several national politicians, before submitting his final list of ministers to the president. The new ministers are expected to be those of justice, legal and prosecution affairs, culture, agriculture, planning and international cooperation, and one of the economic portfolio ministries. Prime Minister Kandil, widely criticised as colourless and ineffectual, will keep his job in the limited reshuffle, a presidential spokesman said last week.
