Egyptian solidarity convoy reaches Gaza

An Egyptian popular convoy has reached the Gaza Strip on Sunday evening through Rafah border crossing. More than 350 of revolutionary youth and political activists participated in the action led by Abdel Moneim Aboul-Fotouh. The convoy went directly to the house of the massacred family Al-Dalu and then moved to participate in a sit-in held in front of Al-Shifa Hospital in central Gaza. The Egyptian convoy reached the Rafah crossing in 10 buses, after the Egyptian authorities granted the required permission allowing the convoy to pass to Gaza in solidarity with the Palestinian people. Another convoy of Arab foreign ministers is expected to go Gaza  in addition to a group of Egyptian politicans and members of Al-Azhar and the Egyptian church, according to security sources.
