Explosion in Pakistan’s ISB airport

A low intensity bomb placed in a bag exploded in the parking lot of the Benazir International Airport. According to airport security officials, preventive measures were taken when it was discovered that the bag had been placed in the parking lot for several hours. The bomb disposal squad was summoned and the bag exploded during examination. Officials from the bomb disposal squad said the low intensity explosion was a result of a cracker bomb placed in the bag. No damage was caused from the explosion. Sources add that the bag was placed next to an official vehicle parked in the lot.
