The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) for joint cooperation in development of human resources in the UAE federal government.
Inked on the margins of the 6th International FAHR conference by Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Awar, Director General of FAHR, and Lyn Goodear, Chief Executive Officer of AHRI, the MoU will see the two signatories joint forces in conducting professional training programmes and convening world-class conferences. Management of human resources will be another area of joint cooperation between the two organisations.
Al Awar stressed the importance of this partnership with AHRI, an international leader in HR, which will contribute to FAHR's efforts to develop and build capacities of the federal government employees and to launch innovative initiatives that will have positive impact on implementation of the federal government HR strategy, the UAE Vision 2021 and national agenda.
