Foreign Ministry spokesman Badr Abdel Aati said all measures were taken upon the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to facilitate the return of Egyptians who want to leave Libya.
In press statements, the spokesman said coordination is underway with Libya's neighbors to guarantee the safe return of the Egyptians.
He pointed out that a crisis team from the Foreign Ministry had been formed to follow up the conditions of the Egyptians in Libya around the clock in coordination with the cabinet, the ministries concerned and the state machineries to solve the returnees' problems in line with the president directives.
Some 21 Egyptians were killed by the terrorist group Daesh in Libya recently.
