The Head of the Palestinian government in Gaza, Ismail Haniyeh, has sent an urgent call to Arab and Islamic countries as well as the whole world to take an explicit decision to end the suffering in Palestinian. During the funeral of a young child, Fathi Abdel Fattah al-Baghdadi, who died during a fire in his home due to cut electricity, Haniyeh said: “It is not the first time that the Palestinian people are facing such a situation. We urge our Arab and Islamic brothers to take action. It is time to take a clear decision to end the suffering of the Palestinian people and end the blockade to supply Gaza Strip with the needed fuel.” Haniyeh also visited the released prisoner, Suhail Saeed Al Jedaily who had spent 22 years in Israeli jails. He congratulated him for his release, his patience and his steadfastness. Haniyeh emphasised that the prisoners file is a top priority for the Palestinian government and they are exerting their utmost efforts for their release. He called on the world to take action and stop the Israeli occupation injustice against Palestinian prisoners in their jails.
