
The commander of Anbar province police command, Kazem al Fahdawi, was wounded in an attack carried out by terrorist Daesh group in Abul Ghanaim in Anbar province of Iraq on Wednesday.
Security sources said the terrorist group also committed a massacre against tens of civilians including women and children in the same area.
The sources said security reinforcements were sent to Abul Ghanaim to dislodge the terrorists from the area.
The spokesman for Anbar governorate Taha Abdel Ghani said security forces and tribal fighters are still facing the terrorists in Sofia area, pointing out that civilians started to escape fighting.
