
Iraqi Parliament Speaker Osama Al-Nejaifi conferred here on Tuesday with visiting Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif to discuss bilateral relations and cooperation agreements between Baghdad and Tehran, the consequences of crisis of Anbar province as well as the most important issues in the region especially the Syrian crisis and fighting against terrorism. Al-Nejaifi stressed in a statement issued today the need to resolve the Anbar Province crisis and tackling the political and security problems via the cooperation of the various Iraqi political powers and stamping out the terrorist organisations there. The iraqi parliament speaker also emphasized the necessity of the iraqi government's response to the demandds of the protesters in the province. Zarif who arrived here earlier this morning on an official visit to Iraq as part of his tour of four regional countries which has so far included Lebanon , will also meet Iraqi Vice President Khudair Al-Khuzaie and Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari .
