Israel: 19 rockets fired into Negev

Israel acknowledged this morning the fall of 19 rocket-propelled grenades in the Negev fired from the Gaza Strip without reporting casualties. Since approximately 5:50 until 7 am, 19 rockets launched towards “Ofakim” in Negev were observed, an Israeli police spokeswoman said in a statement today. Earlier, the Israeli daily (Jerusalem Post) reported that the rocket shells landed in open areas except one which landed on a house in the Eshkol Regional Council, which resulted in material damage only. Al-Qassam Brigades and al-Quds Brigades announced targeting Israeli towns and locations.
