Israel Destroys National Park near Hebron

Israeli forces destroyed on Sunday a national park in Masafer Yatta area, south of Hebron in the West Bank, according to local sources.
Coordinator of the Anti-Settlement Committee in the area, Rateb Jabour told (WAFA) News Agency that Israeli army approached the park, which is adjacent to the border fence between Israel and the West Bank, before proceeding to remove the barbed wires surrounding the park and uprooting trees.
Jabour said the park was established eight years ago with international funding. It is planted with around 500 trees and has eight large tanks for rainwater collection.
