Palestinian sources revealed that Egyptian officials have told leaders of the Islamic Jihad Movement that Israel strongly refuses the entry of the the movement’s Director General, Ramadan Shalah and his Deputy, Ziad Nakhala to Gaza. Israel threatened to target the Palestinian officials if Egypt allowed them to enter Gaza, the matter that could lead to violating the current truce. The source said that the movement’s leadership are holding talks with Egyptian authorities about the issue, while sources confirmed that they are looking into the cancellation of the trip. The threat comes after media websites related to Islamic Jihad Movement announced that the movement’s director general and his deputy would be visiting Gaza during the coming two days.
