
Jordan’s Ambassador abducted in Libya last month has beenreleased and is on his way home.Jordan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs Nasser Judeh announcedTuesday that Jordan’s Ambassador to Libya Fawwaz Eitan is in good health and onhis way home, giving no other details.Masked gunmen abducted the Jordanian Ambassador in Tripoli while he was on hisway to work at the embassy. They shot at his car, wounding the driver.Violence and lawlessness have gripped Libya since the overthrow of the Gadhafiregime in 2011 by NATO-backed rebels.
