Jordanian police officer shot dead in car chase

A police officer in Maan was shot dead as he engaged in car chase with a suspected criminal. The officer was shot in the heart. In a different context, three vans transporting 61 Syrian nationals have been arrested by the Jordanian forces in Maan directorate. An investigation is under way to find out the circumstances of the incident.
