A Lebanese man was killed after a shell hit a Syrian town that borders the Hermel area in Lebanon's northeast, local sources said to Arabstoday. Bassel Ahmed al-Haq, 22, died on Sunday night when the shell hit an area near his relatives' house in the Syrian town of al-Sefsaf that borders the Lebanese village of Hawsh al-Sayyed Ali in Hermel. Al-Haq was buried in the Hermel town of al-Kwakh on Monday morning. Several people have been killed and injured in Lebanese towns bordering Syria in infiltrations and shelling by Syrian troops. But al-Haq's death on Sunday took place in Syrian territories.
