
Unidentified gunmen kidnapped, on Sunday, a merchant from his home in the center of Tikrit, a security source in Salahuddin province said. The source added that masked gunmen in a modern car kidnapped in the early hours of Saturday night, a businessman near his home in central Tikrit.
"Gunmen dragged the man to an unknown place at gunpoint, pointing out that Iraqi police immediately embarked on a campaign of raids and searches in the central neighborhoods of Tikrit to search for the kidnappers", the source, who asked to be anonymous, said.
Three Iraqis were killed and six others injured after bombing of an explosive device, targeted displaced families from ISIS control, in the Hamrin Mountains north of Salahuddin, security source told Arab Todays.
