
The Mayor of Rome, Special Commissioner Francesco Paolo Tronca, has hosted a celebration on the occasion of honouring H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, in recognition of his role in the dissemination of Arab heritage in the world through the World Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival.
The celebration was also held on the occasion of the annual six-day World Arabian Horse Racing Conference, WAHRC, which concluded on Monday.
Saqr Nasser Al Raisi, UAE Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Italy, received the award, which is a symbol of the City of Rome, on behalf of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Mayor Tronca stressed his country's appreciation of the United Arab Emirates' initiatives and its efforts to strengthen relations between the two countries in all fields, praising the nomination of Rome to be the host country for the 7th edition of the Festival. He said that the Municipality of Rome had the honour to present the symbol of the City of Rome as a gift to H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
