Spokesman of the Muslim Brotherhood in Alexandria, Anas al-Qadi has passed on his New Year wishes to members of the Coptic church in Egypt and those living in Alexandria. In a press statement, al-Qadi demanded that the perpetrators of the Saints Church, at the beginning of the year 2011, be brought to justice. Furthermore, he praised the spirit of national unity between Muslims and Copts in Egypt, stressing that the former regime failed to ignite sedition among the sons of the nation. Al-Qadi called on all the Egyptians, Muslims and Christians from all political, ideological and partisan backgrounds to display unity during this important period in Egyptian history.
