
The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, OIC, has condemned the attack in the city centre of Kabul yesterday, which killed 28 people and injured hundreds of others.
Iyad Ameen Madani, OIC Secretary-General, expressed his deep shock over the incident and lamented the continuous loss of lives in Afghanistan as a result of such criminal acts. He described those who commit these terrorist acts and try to make Afghanistan insecure as 'the enemies of the country'.
The Secretary-General offered his sincere condolences to the families of the victims, Government and people of Afghanistan wished a speedy recovery for the injured people.
He further urged the concerned Afghan authorities to take all possible action to bring the perpetrators of these heinous actions to justice.
