Israel should take responsibility for Palestinians who are under-prepared for the possible upcoming war in the region, a security official said Tuesday. "If Israel enters a war with Syria and it had negative effects on the Palestinians, Israel would have to be responsible for Palestinians because they are under occupation," security services spokesman Adnan Damiri said. "We are not at war with any Arab or European states, or with the United States,” he added. “We refuse military interference in Syria but if a war starts it would be the Israeli occupation's responsibility to protect Palestinians because we are under occupation.” Damiri added: "The Palestinian Authority does not have borders to import weapons or protective masks. There are no preparations on the Palestinian front for the possible war in the region because we lack the resources." Source: Maan
