
The Commissioner General of the Palestine Liberation Organization in Washington Maan Erekat discussed on Saturday with the president of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) Warren David a number of issues concerning Arab expats in the US. The meeting also tackled means of coordinating efforts between the two institutions in order to support Arab-US issues in the US. Erekat also discussed with President of the Holy Land Christian Ecumenical Foundation Rateb Rabie ways of explaining the Palestinian situation and Israeli occupation polices to US churches. Erekat visited the New World Research Institute which is holding a demographic survey on the number of Palestinians living in the US. The survey is expected to complete next summer. Source: MENA
