Palestinian police has rescued on Saturday, a Palestinian man from apparent suicide attempt in Nablus in the northern West Bank. A statement issued by the police revealed that a citizen in Ramallah told the police that his friend from Nablus called him and asked him to take care of his sisters and mother, as he was in a catatonic state. The statement noted that the police went to the person's home and found him alone, lying on the ground, next to a large amount of medication and was in a serious condition. The statement emphasized that he was taken to hospital for treatment and police opened an investigation to determine the causes of the suicide attempt. The Palestinian territories witnessed during the past few months, several suicide attempts, resulted by the economic and social difficulties.
