Star of David used in Tunisia’s flag

The Star of David has been found inside the Tunisian flag. This was seen in notebooks that were distributed on Friday during an open day dialogue with the National Constituent Assembly. Present deputies of the parliament and journalists protested the distortion of the Tunisian flag by exchanging the pentagonal star with the hexagonal star. This caused a wave of anger, surprise and questions among the present people. The UNDP representative apologised to the members, stressing that it was a mistake during printing, and is due to the lack of attention and nothing more. In response to the members’ protest, Head of Tunisian National Constituent Assembly Mustapha Ben Jaafar ordered an immediate and urgent investigation.
