STL invites victim input
Beirut – Arabs Today
The Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) has set a deadline for the victims of the Hariri assassination to participate in the trial. Applications, barring exceptional circumstances, should be filed by the 31st of October, 2011. The STL has invited those who suffered physical, mental or material harm in the 14th February 2005 attack, which killed the Prime Minister Rafik Hariri and 20 others, to come forward. Victims will be included in the trial so that their “views and concerns” will be known from the beginning of the case.
