
Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir travelled to Eritrea on Thursday for an official two-day visit. Al-Bashir is scheduled to meet with Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki to discuss the route to bilateral relations and ways of strengthening mutual cooperation. The delegation who travelled with Al Bashir included the foreign minister Ali Karti, Minister of Presidency Lt. Gn. Bakri Hassan Salih, and Director of Security and Intelligence Lt. Gn. engineer Mohamed Atta Al-Mawla. The Eritrean president said in previous statements that the relations with Sudan are strategic and both sides will work to develop it.
