The Sudanese city of Kadugli, capital of South Kurdufan, Sudan, suffered a missile attack on Wednesday. The Deputy Governor General Ahmed Khamis condemned the attacks committed by the Public Movement. In a short statement Khamis said that the movement has resumed its violent tactics, adding that the attack targeted the Qadisiyah neighborhood, leading to the killing of four people and injuring a further seven. Spokesperson of Sudan’s Armed Forces, Khaled Saad, said in a statement that the Sudanese army restored its control over South Kurdufan. He added that the Sudanese President Omar Hassan Ahmad Al-Bashir pardoned soldiers who attempted to organise a military coup against the Sudanese regime.
