A Syrian citizen was kidnapped, Wednesday evening, as soon as he crossed into Lebanon from the Masnaa border in Bekka, east Lebanon. The National News Agency (NNA) reported that four men intercepted the BMW 530 of a Syrian businessman called Mohammed Al-Jabi, 55, and kidnapped him at gunpoint. The businessman was sitting next to his driver, Mohammed Rateb Al-Mahabin, when the incident took place, reported NNA. The kidnappers took their hostage and headed towards the area of Bar Elias and Deir Zanoun, central Bekka, whereas Al-Mahabin informed Shtaura police station about the kidnapping.
