The trial hearing of guide of the Muslim Brotherhood Mohamed Badie along with 50 MB members over orchestrating violence in the immediate aftermath of the dispersal of two protest camps in Rabaa Adawiya and Nahda will resume on June 17.
The court postponed the trial on Wednesday to begin hearing the arguments of the prosecution and the defense.
The charges against Badea and the 50 other defendants involve planning violent events that directly followed the dispersal of the pro-MB sits-in in Cairo and Giza on August 14.
Prosecutors have charged the defendants with setting up an operation room after the dispersal to direct the movements of Brotherhood supporters across the country to defy the state and spread chaos, in addition to plotting attacks on police stations, private property and churches.
