Tunisian President Moncef Marzouki described rumors of his engagement to the minister for women Sihem Badi as “nonsense” He said in a statement to Radio Music FM, that this is false news and “nonsense." For her part, Sihem Badi, told the same Radio station“the media should not repeat such rumors,” calling for a stop using to this hear say that is distracting people from the real problems the country is facing. She added that "Tunisian citizens are expecting us to answer more serious issues about unemployment, the injured of revolution and the families of martyrs." She stressed “my engagement to Dr. Marzouki is just a ‘rumor’ and I call all media to stop circulating this rumors.
