H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain arrived in Istanbul this evening as head of the UAE delegation, on behalf of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to the 13th summit of the Oragnisation of Islamic Countries (OIC) which will begin tomorrow.
He was received by Mustafa Elitas, Turkish Minister of Economy, the Deputy governor of Istanbul, senior Turkish officials and members of the UAE embassy in Ankara and consulate in Istanbul.
Earlier today, Sheikh Saud left the Sharjah International Airport to Istanbul and was seen off by H.H. Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Qaiwain and a number of Sheikhs and senior officials.
The delegation accompanying Sheikh Saud includes Mohammed bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Chairman of the Rashid bin Ahmed Al Mu'alla Holy Quran and Islamc Culture Award, Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Nasser Saeed Al Talai, Director of Umm al-Qaiwain Amiri Court, Mohammed Saeed Al Dhaheri, UAE's Permanent Representative to the OIC, Khalifa Abdul rahman Al Marzouqi, UAE Consul General in Istanbul and Rashid Mohammed Al Ali, director of Protocol at the Umm al-Qaiwain Amiri Court.
