The leader of the National Umma Party and former Prime Minister,Sadiq al-Mahdi , confirmed that his party will not take a part in the new government, which the ruling party said that they are consulting in order to form it with the opposition parties. Al-Mahdi said that we have our reservations on participating in the new government, and explained the coming stage will need a new direction and policy. But he said that his party is keen to have a dialogue and start negotiations with the government and the ruling party in all times. He also revealed his attendance to a meeting today organized by the political sector of the ruling party. Al-Mahdi visited the national public radio today and called on the radio, during his meetings with leaders, to open the door to all the political parties and allow the freedom of expression .
