US and Lebanese troops perform joint drill
Beirut - Riad Shuman?
American and Lebanese forces conducted on Sunday a joint military drill in the Jounieh Bay, north of Beirut. During the training exercises, a number of senior military officers and members of the American Defence Cooperation ?Office of the American embassy in Lebanon were present. The joint drill between Lebanese and American forces follows a decision ?recently made by Washington to support the Lebanese army with equipment and training. ?
