Yemen's referendum date announced

Yemen’s Head of Media in the Supreme Commission for Elections and Referendum (SCER) Abdel-Moneim al-Iryani announced on Thursday that the referendum on a new constitution in Yemen is scheduled to take place on October 15. Al-Iryani added that SCER is organizsing and communicating with all parties to implement the referendum in accordance with the manual electoral register to avoid duplication. According to “Sep 26” news website, SCER will hold a meeting next Saturday to discuss the decision and some preparation for the coming referendum and elections.
