Youngster killed by Al-Qaeda in Boumerdès

Local security sources reported that an armed group of Al-Qaeda in Islamic Maghreb killed a 25 year old on Saturday in the town not far from Boumerdès. The armed group tracked the young man and shot him heavily escaping with Kalashnikov weapons after his death. The source said the young man killed, Kamal Shayban, refused to help the armed group when asked, resulting in his death. Boumerdès remains one of the most active and bloody security cores because of its direct connection to Tizi Ouzou – Bouira axis. This is the central headquarter of the Al-Qaeda in Islamic Maghreb as well as the hideout of the national Emir Abdelmalek Droudkel.
