One Iraqi police officer and three suicide bombers were killed Sunday when police forces confronted a bid to attack a security center in Diyala province north of the capital. A security source told KUNA that the police center in Baquba, one of the biggest cities in Diyala, came under a terrorist attack in which armed men were driving a booby-trapped vehicle. The source added police were able to stop the attack before the suicide attackers entered the center, killing one police officer and injuring 10 others, mainly due to the clashes and the explosion of the car. Police sealed the area and dispatched more forces in the scene to transfer all casualties to hospital.
