Some 5,369 Syrian refugees arrived at Zaatari camp in the last two days, bringing to 105,700 the total number of refugees at the camp, an official said Wednesday. General Coordinator of Syrian Refugees’ Affairs in Jordan Anmar Al Humoud added that Jordan can no more deal with the influx of the Syrian refugees, urging for concerted efforts among the international organizations to deal with the situation. The government, he said, will receive the new Syrian refugees at the Reba’a Al Sarhan camp as soon as it is equipped by the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees. The Al Humoud valued the efforts exerted by the Jordan Armed Forces, which shoulder the major burden of receiving the refugees and providing them with food and shelters before moving them to the Zaatari camp.
