11 Palestinians injured in Israeli prison fire

Eleven Palestinians held in the Israeli prison of Kedar were injured or suffered hard breathing as a result of a fire that broke out early on Saturday, according to the Israeli media. Firemen entered the cells of the prison, located south of the town of Beersheba, and put out the blazes that had engulfed sponge mattresses. The inmates were evacuated. The injured were taken to the Israeli Hospital of Soroka.
