
Fourteen persons were killed and seven were injured when a bus carrying local passenger plunged into a river in Western Nepal, local police said Thursday. The bus plunged into a river in the Chidipani village of Palpa district on early Thursday morning. The identification of the deceased is yet to be established. The injured passengers have been rushed to local hospital. "We are investigating the causes of the accident and rescue operation is going on," police official Shiva Kumar Shrestha said. Police informed that locals, Nepal Police and Nepal Army Personnel are carrying out the rescue operation.
