Police in German Capital Berlin said on Wednesday that riots were renewed, resulting in the burning of at least 17 luxury cars. For its part, the police confirmed that the acts were politically motivated, particularly as it comes ahead of local elections in the state of Berlin early next September. The police added that it began to conduct the necessary investigations to identify the perpetrators. German media has so far been reluctant to compare the riots in Germany to that in Britain as they believe that the acts in Germany are politically motivated, especially as it comes ahead of local elections in the state of Berlin. Berlin Interior Minister Ehrhart Korting described the events in a statement to the German radio these violations as a frightening series of violations. He expressed his anger at the occurrence. There is no proof yet whether these acts are in fact politically motivated or not.
