183 illegal immigrants arrive in Sicily

Some 183 Somali illegal immigrants arrived Friday in the southern Italian port of Palermo on a commercial ship called 'King Julius', according to Italian security sources. The port security changed the route of the ship in order to arrive sooner to the part and save the immigrants on board by taking them to the Sicilian port. The same sources said authorities will move the immigrants to the Piana degli Albanesi commune in the Sicilian capital.
