1873 Syrian refugees cross into Jordan in 24 hours

UN High Commissioner for Refugees Antonio Guterres visited yesterday a number of border points through which Syrian refugees enter the Kingdom and was briefed by Commander of the Border Guards Brigadier General Hussein Al Zeyoud on measures taken to provide services to the refugees.Meanwhile, A Jordan Armed Forces said that a total of 1873 Syrian refugees entered the Kingdom in the last 24 hours, adding that number of Syrians who have crossed into the Kingdom since the end of last week until today stood at 10,926 including many injured and patients.
