
Two Israeli planes violated Thursday the Lebanese airspace and flew over many areas before leaving the country, the Lebanese army said. Two Israeli warplanes breached the Lebanese airspace at 10.15 a.m. over the town of Rmeish, a the rmy statement in a said. It added that the planes circled above the various Lebanese regions, only to leave the Lebanese airspace at 11.10 a.m. from above the sea off the town of Naqoura. The Israeli forces have been violating the Lebanese airspace, waters and borders systematically in violation of UN resolution 1701 of 2006. At sea, Israeli gunboats have entered and shot into Lebanese territorial waters repeatedly. There have been Lebanese claims that Israel is breaching the law of the sea. In 2007, the Lebanese government complained that Israeli planes had flown into Lebanese airspace 290 times within four months, and that Israeli troops had crossed the border 52 times
