Two Italian members of parliament have ruled out the involvement of the Egyptian government in the murder of the Italian student Giulio Regeni.
This came during a meeting with the honorary president of the Euro-Mediterranean parliament Mohammed Abul Enain that was aired on Sada El Balad satellite channel on Monday.
They added that Regeni's murderes are enemies of the Egyptian and Italian peoples as well as Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi.
They accused dissident organizations funded by international economic powers for supporting the perpetrators in order to take Italy's place in economic relations with Egypt.
They also asserted that ruining Italian-Egyptian relations is "impossible".
They expected that the Italian ambassador to Egypt will return to Cairo soon.
Meanwhile, they also said that they understand Egypt's refusal to hand over the content of millions of phone calls to the Italian government.
