Two homeless people were killed after a building in the southern Italian city of Lecce collapsed, local reports said on Monday. The couple had reportedly fallen through a ground-floor room into a well below already weeks ago. Another homeless found the two bodies by chance and sounded the alarm. According to police sources quoted by Corriere della Sera newspaper, the man and the woman had taken shelter in the building after living for months in a tent.
