A US drone strike targeting a vehicle killed at least two people in North Waziristan tribal region near the Afghan border on Monday morning. The strike took place in the Haider Khel area of Mir Ali district, 30 kilometres about (18 miles) east of Miranshah, the capital of North Waziristan tribal region, according to Pakistan's (Dunya) News. "US drones fired four missiles on a vehicle, killing two people," a security official said. He said that several drones were flying in the area at the time of the attack. Another security official confirmed the attack and casualties and said the identity of the persons killed in the strike was not immediately clear.
